Well, it was something!
The Bulls and Hawks played a ridiculous basketball game Friday night in Atlanta. The Bulls finally dominated by 168-161 in four extra times. By the way, no typos.
Enter the wild records of the NBA and Bulls beaten during the victory.
1. 3rd most marked match in the history of the NBA
I hope you have not taken the underside. In the history of the NBA, only three other games have seen more points scored than tonight.
1. 1983: Detroit Pistons 186, Denver Nuggets 184 (370)
2. 1982: San Antonio Spurs 171, Milwaukee Bucks 166 (337)
3. 2019: Chicago Bulls 168, Atlanta Hawks 161 (329)
We saw a 49-point marker at Trae Young, a 47-point scorer at Zach LaVine (both were career highs) and Otto Porter Jr. and Lauri Markkanen scored 30 points. In all, there were 14 double-digit players, 15 different players made a 3-point and incredibly, Justin Anderson did not score in 5 minutes.
And although the two teams are tired in the last stretch, both teams have pulled very well. The Bulls finished with a gap of .471 / .438 / .729, while the Hawks scored .500 / .373 / .680.
It was also only the third time in NBA history that both teams were over 160 points.
2. 15th game in overtime in the history of the NBA
The Bulls fans are really happy with four-time games. Friday night was just the fifteenth NBA game for four extra times, and yet the Bulls have played three times!

2. 2015: Detroit Pistons 147, Chicago Bulls 144
3. 1984: Chicago Bulls 156, Portland Trail Blazers 155
Incredibly, the Hawks have now been involved in three of them as well, in 2012 and 2017. The Bulls and Hawks have therefore been involved in the previous three quadruple overtime games.
Maybe we'll see more fireworks on Sunday afternoon when the teams play again.
3. Bulls record for most points in one game
It's quite ironic that the record for the most points of a Bulls team in a single match is held by a group of Jim Boylen, but we are there. The 168 points erased the Bulls' point record by 11 points in one game. Here is the top 5.

2. 1984: 156 points (4 OTs)
3. 1979: 148 points (2 OTs)
4. 1983: 147 points (2 OTs)
5. 2015: 144 points (4 OTs)
And the best part of this statistic? The former record holder, the 1984 Bulls, went 0-0 after scoring 156 points in a win over the Blazers. Oh, how times have changed.
4. Bulls record for most 3-points in a single game
Of course, this album was rocking. The Bulls opened their offensive over the last month, so of course the 3 points would be afloat in a four-overtime game. The Bulls connected on 21 triples, breaking their previous record of 18 marks in a match.

Shaq Harrison (0-for-1), Timothy Luwawu-Cabarrot (0-for-2) and Wayne Selden (0-for-4) have not contributed to the cause but still have their names in the book of Bulls records.
The Bulls' 48 attempts were also a franchise record, overturning the previous mark of 41 attempts.
5. First time the Bulls had three scorers with 30 points in a single match
This one is pretty impressive.
Zach LaVine earned 47 career points, while Lauri Markkanen added 31 points and Otto Porter Jr. scored 30 points. And in the illustrious story of the Bulls, three scorers of 30 points in the same match have never happened.
Never Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Toni Kukoc. Never Derrick Rose, Luol Deng and Jimmy Butler. Nothing.
6. Surprisingly, nobody has nearly broken the records of minutes
Although it's the 15th match in quadruple extra time in the history of the NBA, the 55 minutes of Zach LaVine and the minutes of Otto Porter and Lauri Markkanen have not come close the Bulls record. LaVine, however, has entered the top 10.

For what it's worth, LaVine's 56 minutes are tied with Trae Young tonight, for the most players of the season and since Paul Millsap and Tim Hardaway scored 60 and 58 minutes respectively for the Hawks at their four-overtime victory over the New York Knicks in 2017.
