Claims Queen Elizabeth was set to end marriage ’63 times’

The Express noted that allegations that the monarch almost ended his marriage to the prince “63 times” for his “bachelor” lifestyle were made in the documentary titled The big story by Italian broadcaster Rai. The program’s narrator, Riccardo Mei, suggested that a “crisis” in the marriage of the Queen and Philip began in 1956.

“From this year on, the two were going to lead completely separate lives, he as an unrepentant bachelor and her as a resigning wife, all busy with official engagements,” Mei said. “According to the tabloid press, Elizabeth almost broke the marriage 63 times. The character finds a match in the many rumors about Philip’s forbidden relationships.

Expert Valeria Palumbo, however, felt that the Queen cared more about Prince Philip being loyal to the crown than to her.

“The marriage to Philip was, on Elizabeth II’s part, certainly a marriage of love,” Palumbo said, adding: “[Philip] was penniless but had all the right titles, a man who also respected his duties. It has always been said that Elizabeth does not need loyalty, but loyalty.

Has Prince Philip Ever Cheated On His Wife?

Numerous discussions about Prince Philip’s alleged infidelity have been circulating for years. These were resurrected again in Season 2 of the hit Netflix series The crown. Since then, a frequently asked question by many royal fans has been: Did the prince really cheat on Queen Elizabeth? Despite this intrigue and business rumors, there is no evidence that the Duke of Edinburgh has ever been unfaithful.

Sunday Express writer and columnist Camilla Tominey told NBC News that the Season 2 script was a “complete make-up.”

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward also commented on the claims, saying they are nothing more than fiction. “There was a story about a ballerina [Galina Ulanova] he was supposed to have had an affair with, but it really sucked, ”Seward said.

Even Prince Philip himself has commented on extramarital affair rumors in the past, telling a reporter: ‘Have you ever stopped to think that for years I have never moved anywhere without a police officer? come with me? So how the hell could I get away with something like this?
