Ubisoft announced the content of Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Phantom Sight as part of its second season of the fourth year of the Pro League final in Milan, Italy.

The Phantom Sight Operation features Nokk, a new armed attacker from a FMG-9 and a SIX12-SD who uses his high-tech HEL gadget to reduce presences, to navigate behind enemy lines , in the shelter of cameras and drones. OPS also introduces a new Defender, Warden, who uses his "Glance Smartglasses" to improve his vision, give him better visibility in the smoke and immunity to lightning while remaining still. He uses an M590A1 and an MPX to make a powerful anchor and a denier.

OPS also includes a major overhaul of the Kafe Dostoyevsky Moscow map, which includes a redesigned first floor, new second-floor bomb sites, as well as other updates to enhance the ability to replay and play. Other features that will be introduced in the new season include updates to Reverse Friendly Fire, a reworked playlist and a new showcase in the game.

The test server (an alternate version of Rainbow Six Siege allowing players to test upcoming game features) for OPS will be up and running on May 21st – this test server is exclusive to PC gamers. OPS is part of the Year 4 pass available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and two more seasons should be discontinued this year.
