St. Louis Blues vs. San Jose Sharks, Part Five: Lines, gamethread and where to look

[ad_1]

The San Jose Sharks are back at home for a decisive game against the St. Louis Blues.

The Sharks played seven games against the two previous opponents. After a controversial victory in match 3, it was already decided that match 4 would not only have catch-up reminders, but that it would be a catch-up match that would link the series again.

That said, the Sharks played well and despite the authorization cough two or less cough goals, they simply could not overtake Jordan Binnington more than once to win the victory. If an adjustment is necessary, it is the hard power game of the Sharks, where they have capitalized only twice this series.

In other news, the Sharks' lineup is rather impressive, including Erik Karlsson, injured in the fourth game. He will be back in training tonight, but at what level he will be able to perform be determined.

Where to look

Puck Drop will be at 12pm Eastern Pacific / 15h from Enterprise Center in St. Louis. The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC in the United States, as well as on CBC and Sportsnet in Canada. You can also listen to the radio call on 98.5 KFOX in the Bay Area.

Then come back for live updates and reactions!

Hello people! I hope everyone is ready for Sunday brunch.

Programming Note: This game will be broadcast on NBC and not on NBCSN, as previously mentioned. If you are a cord cutter like me and do not get NBC through your streaming service, you can use the NBC Sports app and connect to your provider. As long as you have NBCSN, it should still work!

Micheal Haley is also present for Marcus Sorensen.

First period

7:50 p.m.: Evander Kane at once hit the post. This bad luck is better not to be all night again.

4:11 p.m.: Schenn and Schwartz get into Jones' police and get robbed.

3:50 p.m.: The same duo returns to the area and hits a post.

2:32 p.m.: Erik Karlsson at Melker Karlsson, who knocks on the net.

2:10 p.m.: Erik Karlsson tries to make a pass to Brenden Dillon, the puck passes between his legs and bounces off the boards for Oskar Sundqvist, who unleashes a fast shot past Jones. 1-0, Blues.

12:11: Sharks must wake up. The blues enter the offensive zone and install too easily.

10:55: Sharks have a quick opportunity ahead, but the Blues are quick to limit. The Blues remind me a lot of the avalanche in the speed with which they take possession of the land and return to their offensive zone.

9:50: Schwartz and Schenn test Jones again. One of these two will score points soon.

9:10: It looks like Tomas Hertl was hit in the face by Barbashev's shoulder. No call.

6:20: Justin Braun with a hit on Binnington.

6:00: Nyquist is bypassed to find the puck. Not a particularly hard time, but it was awkward.

4:42: Jay Bouwmeester, who certainly deserves a Stanley Cup more than Joe Thornton, sends the puck over the glass. The sharks are heading towards the power play.

3:54: The Blues have the first stroke of luck of the power play. Logan Couture with a couple of good looks.

2:42: Burn with a superb shot in the traffic at the end of the power play, but no dice.

1:37: Vlasic stops a pass from Bouwmeester to O'Reilly, who made a nice pass to two.

0:00: Not a last minute of particularly aggressive play.

END FIRST: Sharks 0, Blues 1
