Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals: NFL betting picks, odds & analysis
The money went to the Cardinals early on. Maybe punters expect some disappointment from the Rams after the big win over the Bucs. Maybe punters are also watching the close game against the Colts two weeks ago and see cause for concern there.
Arizona beat Jacksonville last week and allowed just 12 offensive points. Jamal Agnew’s 109-yard “kick-six” was by far the biggest game of the game for the Jaguars. The Cardinals scored 30 again, although a pick of six was part of the equation.
McVay is 8-0 against the Cardinals since taking over the Rams, but it’s probably the best version of the Cardinals he’s faced. This is certainly the best version of quarterback Kyler Murray, who is now the leading MVP in most book betting markets with a price tag of around +750.
The Rams have their own strong MVP contender in quarterback Matthew Stafford in the 8-1 lineup. Stafford isn’t the double threat Murray is, but the teams are neck and neck in yards per game as Arizona has 6.8 and Los Angeles has 6.7. The Rams, however, have scored on almost 59% of their possessions, while the Cardinals have scored on 45.7%. Los Angeles leads the NFL in points per practice at 3.28. Arizona is fourth at 2.74.
