The actor shared the news the same day he appeared on Disney + ‘s final episode of “WandaVision,” reprising his role as FBI agent Jimmy Woo.

Randall Park recently received some good and surprising news: he has been vaccinated against COVID-19.

The actor appeared on Friday on The speech where he revealed he was vaccinated after participating in a medical trial last year.

“I just found out that I have been vaccinated against COVID since September of last year,” he said.

At this time, Park was talking to his friend and fellow actor (and doctor) Ken Jeong, who told him about an ongoing vaccine trial that was looking for Asian candidates.

“And you know, I was thinking, ‘Oh that’s interesting.’ Then I found out that it was near my house, not far away, and I was bored because it was the pandemic, ”he said. “I was stuck in the house. And I was like, ‘Maybe I should donate my body to science.’ I thought that would be my way, of sorts, of fighting this thing that is happening all over the world. So, I enlisted in the trial. And I didn’t know if I had the placebo or the vaccine, but just found out yesterday that I got the vaccine. “

Park shared the news the same day he appeared on WandaVision on Disney + reprising his role as FBI agent Jimmy Woo, a character he first starred in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
