Tekken Bar manager and owner Katsuhiro Harada recently uploaded a video to his YouTube talk show channel “Harada’s Bar” about the people he would like to visit at his bar.

One of his best choices is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai – especially now that Tekken’s Kazuya has joined the game’s roster as a DLC character. Sadly, Harada still thinks this is a bit of a pipe dream, as Sakurai tends to stick to more official shows.

“Having Sakurai-san here would be the best because of the [Kazuya] announcement. But basically it doesn’t show up in programs like this. “

Sakurai made an appearance on a variety show, which was apparently the only “laid back show” he appeared on.

“Basically he only appears in official stuff … I can at least ask”

It is also difficult to make such appearances depending on the person. Harada also understands in Sakurai’s case how busy he probably is at the moment.

“In that sense, Sakurai-san has a lot of connections. Because he creates things between these links. [Smash] must be really hard. I got involved and I felt it. It’s a collection of … rights holders. It contains many rights not only for Nintendo but also for many companies in the gaming industry. It must be tough. He’s in the middle of all these things so it must be hard for him. “

If it was a more private event, that wouldn’t be a problem – with Harada noting how Sakurai was even at her wedding, but with that, he strength should make the invitation a more formal process.

“I can easily invite him if it’s a private matter. He even came to my wedding… If it’s Sakurai-san, we should call Bandai Namco Studios, I would call my own workplace ..” . [laughs] they would be confused why i call them [laughs]…I will ask him.

Harada has even asked fighting game fans on social media what questions they would ask Sakurai if given the chance:

street fighter and Capcom legend Yoshinori Ono is also someone Harada is keen to have in his bar program, but apparently he’s the “hardest” to get right now, due to how busy he is with his new role as president of mobile games company DelightWorks.

“I asked him several times. At first he said, of course I can come. I will come. But once he has become [DelightWorks] The president of the company, even me, told him, “If you come now, that would be a big deal, wouldn’t it? “

It’s unclear whether or not Harada will be able to bring either of the fighting game’s representatives to his bar, what we do know, however, is that Sakurai is already working hard on the final Fighter DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

What question would you ask Mr. Sakurai if you could ask him something? Pass them on in the comments below.
