Another wild and savage week of college football ended on Saturday with five of the top 12 teams and six of the top 15 teams in the country losing, including No.3 from Oregon, No.8 from Arkansas, the # 9 Notre Dame, # 10 Florida, # 12 Ole Miss, and # 15 Texas A&M. Needless to say, the race for the national title has cleared up.
Meanwhile, Alabama’s No.1 and Georgia’s No.2 made massive statements and parted ways with the rest of the pack.
There are long-term contenders who have drastically changed their title hopes. Texas A&M’s hopes are dashed, Clemson has not won any style points and the likelihood of Florida coming out of their two-loss hole is virtually nonexistent. Oregon fell as the last undefeated Pac-12, and that may have taken the college football playoff chances of the conference.

In order to determine which teams to score each week, we’re looking at the national title odds provided by Caesars Sportsbook ahead of Saturday kickoff. Everyone receives a newsletter for their efforts in week 5. For some, this may be the last, as their odds are sure to drop after key losses.
