Halo Community Director Brian Jarrard said in a Reddit AMA today Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One, including all stats, hits, forged cards and game variations, will be postponed to the upcoming PC version. He also said that while nothing was guaranteed, the studio is exploring options to add official support to mods sometime after launch.

Jarrard was discreet on a number of topics, such as the exact timing of the first test flight for Halo: Reach, the first game of the 343 Industries collection is working on porting, will begin.   • The PC version supports 21: 9, 16: 9, 16:10, 3: 2 and 4: 3 formats in windowed mode.
  • The studio currently aims to support uncapped frame rates in all games.

Jarrard added that the studio was examining a number of points he could not commit to at the moment. Cross play with the console is probably the biggest thing that players want. According to Jarrard, 343 Industries is studying the question.

Jarrard said his team was exploring ways to create dedicated servers for games hosted by the community, or at least a special browser for searching for custom games. But as for many features, Jarrard pointed out that these things will come much further down the road, if they happen at all.
