The world premiere of Taylor Mac & # 39; s Gary: a sequel to Titus Andronicus officially opens at Booth Theater on Broadway on April 21st. In the Pulitzer Prize finalist's new comedy, which takes place just after the conclusion of the first tragedy of William Shakespeare, two humble servants are tasked with cleaning up the bodies of the deadly years of the battles

Tony Award winner George C. Wolfe conducts a cast of Nathan Lane (Gary), Kristine Nielsen (Janice), Tony, and Carol White (Julie, Tony winner).

Gary, which is produced by Scott Rudin, started the previews on March 11th.

The creative team of Gary includes Santo Loquasto (scenic design) four times, Tony and Ann Roth (costume design), nine times, Tony Award winner Jules Fisher, and Peggy Eisenhauer (triple design) three times, nominated composer Danny Elfman ( original music), Tony, Dan Moses Schreier (sound design), and Tony Bill Irwin (movement). The cast is directed by Telsey + Company.

Mac is the creator, author and star of the famous A 24-year history of popular music, as well as the playwright of Hir, seen at Horizons playwrights.
