The masked singer did not send one but two competitors home this week, leaving only three candidates vying to become the big winner of the sweaty season under this heavy suit.
The last five competitors – Lion, Monster, Peacock, Bee and Rabbit – gave everything in one hour, which finally removed two crooked crooners from the race. Meanwhile, on the guessing board, Saturday Night LiveKenan Thompson has joined Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke to try to determine the true identities of the singers.

PEACOCK | The bird gave a striking performance of Calvin Harris's "Let's Go" starring Ne-Yo, before even going down in the crowd to woo a few ladies during the song. (Side note: Peacock certainly has one of the easiest costumes to install, which seems to be an unfair advantage.Imagine if Monster wanted to show his number to the public? VIES CAN BE LOST.) MONSTER | If you ever told me six months ago that I would like the show to publish the sound of its performances on iTunes, I would have told you to stuff a handful of blue synthetic fur where the sun does not shine. But then, Monster produced an extremely touching rendition of Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" in this week's episode. Here we are. (I guess: T-Pain.)

RABBIT | Watching the rabbit perform The Temptations 'My Girl', I reflect on the refreshing change that this show, ridiculous as it is, has progressively eliminated the weaker singers before the strong ones. And the rabbit certainly has some serious chops. But this thing that makes one's head shake must stop. Please. I beg you. (I guess Joey Fatone.)
