PRAYER GATHERING: A drive-through prayer rally and tent revival will be held daily at 7:00 p.m. until September 19 at 8301 Market Street, Youngstown.
OUTDOOR CONCERT: The Church of the Nazarene in Cortland, 293 E. Main St., will host a free outdoor concert Sunday at 6 p.m. in the church parking lot. The music will be provided by the Gospel Harmonaires. Guests must bring a garden chair or use a folding chair which will be provided.
BIRTHDAY: Third Christian Church, 241 First St. in Warren, will mark its 101st birthday in September. Upcoming events are the celebration of Pastor Robert Faulkner’s fifth birthday at 11 a.m. Sunday, a musical performance at 4 p.m. September 19 and 101st church anniversary 11 a.m. September 26.
On Sunday, the guest speaker will be Reverend Cynthia Klingemier and the special guest performance will be given by The Women of Wisdom of Cleveland.
MEN’S RALLY: The Men’s Rally in the Valley will take place at 7 a.m. at 4 p.m. on October 9 at the Covelli Center in Youngstown. The theme is “Be united in Christ.” Free entry. The planned guests are Tim Ginter, Bob Pavlich, Joel Penton, Vance Johnson and Markus McFolling. Doors open at 7 a.m. A musical performance will be given by Sidewalk Prophets.
WOMEN’S WEEKEND: A Transformation Weekend for Women will be held September 24 at 7 pm and September 25 at 9 am at Life Church, 610 S. Leavitt Road, Leavittsburg. The theme is “Be transformed.” Speakers are Rhea Marshall and Leah Simmons. Registration on www.lcogoh.com until September 22.
AUTUMN AWAKENING: The West Mecca Biblical Methodist Church, 1215 Greenville Road, Cortand, will host a fall revival from September 29 to October 3. The host pastor is Mike Shiery. The service is 7 p.m. from September 29 to October 1, a fall festival will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on October 2 and from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 3 is the service.
BIBLE STUDY: Warren First Church, 251 Surrey Road SE, Warren, will host a Bible study from noon to 1:00 p.m. every Sunday after the 10:45 a.m. service. The subject is the book of Revelation.
CATHOLIC MEN’S SCHOLARSHIP: The eighth annual Catholic Men’s Bursary will be held September 18 at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. The theme is “Let go of the faith that embraces fear”. Registration is done on CMFDOY.org.
REVIVAL SET: Lighthouse Covenant Ministries, 1755 Shehy St., Youngstown, will host a Kingdom Experience revival today and Sunday. Apostle Robert Jenkins, along with Lady Cassandra Jenkins, will lead the meeting. Jenkins heads the Divine Insight Ministries in New Orleans, Louisiana, which has a national impact. Today’s services are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., then a free lunch will be offered and an afternoon service will begin at 2 p.m. with a “Alliance couple” relational workshop.
WHO IS JESUS: Cortland Trinity Baptist Church, 2576 McCleary-Jacoby Road, will host a “Who is this Jesus? “ an eight-week course starting at 9:15 a.m. Sunday at church and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Cortland Library, 578 Lakeview Drive, run by Pastor Dan Barker. GOSPEL CONCERT: The Troy Burns family of Bryson City, NC will host a Southern Gospel Concert at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Carrolton Bible Church. A love offering of two foods for the pantry will be accepted. Burns has recorded over 700 original and charted songs.
SCHOLARSHIP EVENT: The Trumbull County Evangelical Ministers’ Community will meet at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the Jericho Center, 2878 Warren Meadville Road, Bazetta. The cost is $ 5 donation.

FOOD FEST: St. Columba’s Cathedral in Youngstown will be hosting its second annual optional take-out-only international food festival on Fridays in the Church Hall.
The combos cost $ 15 each and can be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot between the church and Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University. Checks and cash will be accepted, but not credit cards. Orders can be paid for on pickup, but it’s best to pay in advance.
There are five options to choose from: Eastern European Feast, Italian Feast, Mexican Feast, American Feast, and Sample Desserts.

RISE AGAINST HUNGER: Lakeview Outreach and Fellowship will host Rise Against Hunger from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on September 18 at the Lakeview High School cafeteria. STUDY GROUP: The Unity Spiritual Center, 1226 Naylor Lloyd Road, Liberty, will host a new book study group from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. starting Wednesday. Reverend Cay Tomerlin and Reed Broadway will lead the discussion on “Home with God” by Neale Donald Walsch. “Home with God” is a continuation of M. WEDDINGS: The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown’s Ministry for Life, Marriage, and Family office is sponsoring a second wedding anniversary celebration to honor couples who are celebrating their 25th, 40th, 50th or more birthdays in 2021. The celebration will have held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the Basilica of Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Canton. Couples interested in participating should register with their parish before Wednesday. The celebration will include a mass with Bishop David Bonnar of Youngstown, the renewal of marriage vows, a personalized certificate for each couple and a reception for couples and their families hosted by the Basilica of the parish of Saint John the Baptist.

CONCERT SET: Second Baptist Church “A house of hope. “ 1510 Main Ave. SW, in partnership with 717 Credit Union and Brite Energy Innovators, presents the “INSPIRE summer concert series: an immersive artistic experience” 6 p.m. Sunday at the Warren Community Amphitheater. Red Hands, an Ohio-based band that mixes funk and soul sounds with inspirational messages, will perform. Hip-hop artist King DTown, saxophonist Oscar Chattman and keyboardist and singer Billy Beck, as well as young local musicians and poets will also perform. INSPIRE will also feature the auction of a pop art work donated by Atlanta artist Michael Johnson from Warren.

BUS TRIP: Jesus the Key Ministries has a few openings on his bus trip to Lancaster, PA. The trip is to the Sight and Sound Theater to see “Queen Esther”, a live theatrical presentation on December 8 and 9 from the First Christian Church Columbiana. The cost is $ 320.
