Gasol, who missed 26 games earlier this season due to a foot-to-foot fracture, has missed the last six games of the Bucks because of this injury.
The Bucks acquired Gasol on March 1, after entering into a buyout agreement with the San Antoinio Spurs.
Alongside Gasol, teammates Malcom Brogdon (plantar fascia on the right foot) and Nikola Mirotic (fracture of the left thumb) will probably miss the final weeks of the regular season.
