Report: Kyrie Irving separates from agent, very interested in mosquito nets

Boston Celtics playmaker Kyrie Irving reportedly split from long-time agent Jeff Wechsler on Wednesday. He plans to be represented by Roc Nation Sports.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Irving, who has declined his player option for the 2019-2020 season, is partnering with Roc Nation's Jay-Z to prepare for his first free agency campaign June 30th.

Jay-Z being a former co-owner of the Brooklyn Nets and one of the city's biggest icons, this decision fuels the speculation that Irving could make the nets a self-serve destination.

Wojnarowski said that Irving "continued to be keenly interested in Brooklyn nets," while noting that the New York Knicks should also remain in the mix.
