Robert Griffin III can still run.

RG3, who once looked like football’s most electrifying running quarterback but hasn’t shown that explosiveness in a long time, tallied 56 rushing yards in the first half against the Steelers. Griffin appeared to be hampered in his final round of the half, but he stayed in the game.

Until today, it had taken over seven years for Griffin to gain over 50 rushing yards in a full game, let alone a running back.

Sadly, an impressive Ravens practice ended abruptly, as Griffin threw a pass into the end zone that tight end Sean Culkin couldn’t hold up in time.

The Steelers lead 12-7 at halftime.
