Rick and morty Season 5 may be on hiatus soon if a recent report is checked! Adult Swim has made its way through the fifth season of the fan-favorite animated series, and it will soon be wrapping up its eighth episode with its next new release. Unfortunately, it looks like the wait for the show’s final two episodes could be much longer than originally thought, as the break between Episodes 8 and 9 could end up lasting not just a week, but two and potentially more. as well as.
It was previously revealed that Rick and morty Season 5 would take a hiatus next Sunday August 15 (which will be dominated not only by Tuca & Bertiethe season 2 finale, but a marathon in the new season that follows), but a new list of programs spotted by @swimpedia on Twitter also revealed that there will be no new episode of Rick and morty Sunday August 22 either. This means that it will be necessary to wait at least two weeks between episodes 8 and 9 of season 5.
It has not yet been officially confirmed whether or not Rick and morty will miss two Sundays in a row, and no reason for the delay has been revealed, but fans are hoping that means it will eventually mean a two-part season finale when the new season finally returns. Considering the several-month hiatus between the first and the final five episodes of Season 4, this hiatus doesn’t seem too serious in comparison.
With Rick and Morty already confirmed for seasons 6, 7 (with Season 7 of the series recently wrapping up the writing portion of its production), and many more episodes to come as well as newly produced animated shorts by over creators following the success of the first three shorts, that expectation may sting, but at least fans can rest in the knowledge that there are still many more new episodes for years to come.
