Rockland County is about to declare statewide emergency status today in relation to the ongoing measles outbreak.

In the emergency, anyone under the age of 18 who has not been vaccinated against measles will be excluded from public places until the expiry of the declaration within 30 days or until the date of death. she received the MMR vaccine.

The measure comes into effect tonight at midnight.
