Aaron Rodgers is in the bliss of the engagement. The Green Bay Packers quarterback has gushed over his relationship with Shailene Woodley – even though he didn’t specifically name his fiancee – and is clearly thinking about his future with the 29-year-old actress.
Rodgers, 37, acknowledged his engagement during a live Instagram chat with Zenith Watches CEO Julien Tornare, published Thursday.
“I’m recently engaged, so I enjoyed that part of my life,” Rodgers exclaimed. “Obviously, this is the best thing that happened to me last year.”
News of Rodgers’ relationship with the Big little liars star fled in February. A few days later, he thanked his “fiancee” by accepting the NFL MVP award for the third time. When asked if there is anything he “would really like to accomplish” in life, Rodgers made it clear that he has babies on his brain.
“Well, I think the next big challenge will be being a dad,” responded the athlete, who was named Zenith Watches North American Ambassador in February. “Many of my friends are [parents]. I am in the age group where many of my close friends from high school and college are now fathers and have families of their own. It might not be in the immediate future, but definitely something that I’m really looking forward to. It will be a really fun challenge. “
Rodgers continued, “I’ve done a really good job taking care of myself for the past 37 years, can’t wait to take care of another life at some point too. I just think that would be so much fun. . on what it will be and I’m really excited about this chapter every time it comes up. “
A source confirmed to Yahoo Entertainment in February that Rodgers was engaged to the actress.
