Publisher Aurora Punks and developer Pixadome have announced a roguelike brawler Chenso Club for consoles and PC (Steam). It will be launched this fall. Specific consoles have not been announced.
“Chenso Club has been one of those projects that we have wanted to achieve for a long time, ”Pixadome director Conny Nordlund said in a press release. “We have been working with our composer ‘Knasibas’ since the age of 14. So it always seemed logical to us to create intellectual property inspired by his music. For every Knasibas album, there was an anime girl on the cover. This is what sparked the idea of making a heroine game with cute anime girls.
Nordlund continued, “Personally, I took a lot of inspiration from the 90s cartoons such as The Powerpuff Girls when I started the design phase. I love how violent this show was yet still incredibly charming and playful at the same time. My hopes are that this also comes to fruition Chenso Club. “

It’s raining aliens! Once killed, they leave behind a life force that gives life to inanimate objects. Only the Chenso Club can stop them in this chainsaw, side-scrolling, brawler / roguelike / platform fighter.
The Chenso Club is a group of girls turned fighters who use the life force of aliens to beat them at their own game:
- Blue is an android who “woke up” when aliens invaded his laboratory and their life force infiltrated his power core. She wields a nasty chainsaw.
- Carmine is a royal guard who was armed with a hammer when aliens stormed the castle. They’ve taken the king hostage, and she’s not happy.
More characters to announce!
The girls of the Chenso Club love to show off their new powers. Learn their moves and collect power-ups to see what these fighters can do. Two game modes are now available: Endless, a chaotic marathon that gets harder and harder as you play, and Versus, an arena-style match between two Chenso girls.
You can play solo, but Chenso Club it’s even better with a friend – couch co-op or online. Team up in Endless Mode to kick ass together, or compete in Versus Mode to fight for the spotlight!
