Update: The leak was real, then. Ubisoft revealed Roll Champions during his press conference on E3, alongside the trailer above. A demo is available on PC right now, but the console platforms are not yet revealed. The game will be free, suggesting that micro-transactions will be part of the experience. The full game is expected in 2020.

Our buddies from Eurogamer have already played, so go on-site for some impressions and comments from Ubisoft on the project.

Original story: A new IP address from Ubisoft appears to have been leaked before the announcement of its E3 2019. This is called "Roller Champions" and is based on the sport, the roller derby. The game was apparently confirmed for Switch, after assets for the Nintendo controller configuration would have been discovered next to the following image of an Xbox controller:

This information comes from a private test that would have been done earlier this month. Other elements reveal an E3 logo, suggesting a more formal announcement that is coming up, and there are also game screens as well as images of early on-screen loading.

According to one of the sources, the game runs on Unity, will include fast matches, ranked matches, custom games, tournaments and is online only. There are also many sound options, including a streaming mode, and the game options menu includes two different modes of aiming.
