The cancer of Roman Reigns is in remission and the former world champion is back to WWE.
At the October 22, 2018 edition of Raw, Reigns announced that he had been diagnosed with leukemia 11 years ago. The cancer had returned, forcing him to abandon the WWE Universal Championship and stay away indefinitely.
Reigns provided an update Monday night to open Raw.

Reigns had been a figure that divides WWE fans somewhat in recent years. That changed last fall when his leukemia forced everyone to put things in perspective. Reigns referred to the outpouring of support that he received.

He was clearly overwhelmed with emotion as he was mugging Monday, and this feeling was shared on social networks:

It was really cool, 20 minutes on Raw. Roman clearly needed the fans and these were so eager to be there for the Big Dog. Goosebumps when Seth Rollins came out.

I really liked Roman's speech and what he said about the fans. I know that wrestling fans are bickering about everything, but when someone breaks down, we all remember that we are in the same team and that we support that person. Good job the Atlanta crowd by representing us all. #Gross
Reigns went out before revealing when he was going into the ring and we do not know how he will fit into the current WWE story. With WrestleMania 35 on April 7, the company may be waiting for the outcome of its largest pay-per-view program to involve it in all sorts of quarrels.
Considering that he had abandoned the universal title without losing it, Reigns would undoubtedly be the first to challenge the winner of Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.
WWE can solve everything at a later date. Hearing that Reigns's cancer was in remission was all fans needed to launch Raw.
