The National Energy Regulatory Agency announces that between July 11 and July 24, 2018, the selling price of major petroleum products will be:

19.49 lei / liter for gasoline (including: 9.23 lei / (19.39 lei / liter excise rate, 3.25 lei / liter specific trade margin and 3.25 lei / liter of VAT )
17.25 lei / liter for diesel (including: 9.37 lei / lei / liter price depending on the exchange rate, excise duty of 1.76 lei / liter, specific trade margin of 3, 25 lei / liter and VAT of 2.87 lei / liter)

According to the Petroleum Products Act, retail sales of petrol and diesel are calculated on the basis of average Platts rates. recalculated in MDL on the basis of the average official exchange rate of the national currency fixed by the National Bank of Moldova in relation to the US dollar for the last 14 days

Compared to the current level of prices, average Platts prices increased by 25.42 USD / ton for gasoline (+ 3.64%) and by 14.88 USD (26.06.2018-09.07.2018) / tonne for diesel fuel (+ 2.29%). The average exchange rate of the national currency against the US dollar was 16.8275 lei / USD. Thus, the increase in the average prices of Platts recalculated in Moldovan lei rose to 0.39 lei / liter for gasoline and 0.25 lei / liter for diesel including VAT [19659002] The other components of the ceiling price in the last two weeks have remained unchanged. It includes the rate of value added tax of 20%, the excise duty of 3.76 lei / liter for gasoline and 1.76 lei / liter for diesel. The specific commercial margin of 3.25 lei / liter includes:

transportation and insurance costs of petroleum products in the territory of other countries
fees for customs procedures and the payment of pollutant emissions
expenditures for the conversion of the currency
transport, storage and marketing of petroleum products on the territory of the country (depreciation expenses of tangible fixed assets to commercial purposes, wages, social insurance and health insurance of employees, commercial expenses, expenses related to the rental of commercial assets, expenses for commercial purposes for communal services, electricity, heating, etc., normative losses of petroleum products ( perishability),
other justified and necessary expenses
profit from the retail trade of petroleum products
