[19659002] "The exceptional financial results of Hidroelectrica in 2017 allow us to distribute to shareholders the largest amount resulting from the dividends of the company's history." The company's performance is unequivocal. The more remarkable that it has been achieved, as we know, in a year of low water quality We place these results on the effective contractual framework and the very good understanding of the mechanisms and functioning of the market. However, we are concerned about the long-term sustainability of the company's success, so we have included in our strategy the diversification of the company, especially in the field. do green energies, without losing sight of other opportunities.

The first half of 2018 gives us every reason to believe that this year will be even better for our society – said Bogdan Badea, CEO of Hidroelectrica. The company produced 9,345 TWh from the beginning of the year until June 30 – approx. 20% more than the similar period of 2017 when 7.783 TWh were produced, so we expect to exceed all profitability records.

Beyond a better hydridicity, I see these performances as the result of strategic actions that management has put in place since 2017: the staffing plan has been optimized, maintenance plans have have been redesigned and we have no more capacity removed during peak periods.

The company expects 2018 worth investments the 109 million euros, the most consistent in the recent history of the company. In parallel, Hidroelectrica intends to resume financing some of the objectives with complex functions, investments that have been blocked so far.
