After a great performance, the last days at Bistrita Folk – Diana Porca came back victorious from Romania's biggest national folklore competition – Alba Iulia "Tomorrow's Day".

Last night, Alba Iulia celebrated the festival "Tomorrow Day", conquered this year by a 17 year old student of Bistrita – Diana Porca. The laureates' Gala included recitals of famous Romanian folk music performers, including Victor Socaciu and Vasile Seicaru.

Pupilist at the "Corneliu Baba" high school of Bistrita, architecture section, in terminal class, but has enough free time to do dance, rhythmic gymnastics, chess and especially guitar. Although she started studying this instrument in 2011, the results did not take long. Diana won awards every year at the festivals she attended, performing her own compositions.

2018 ends well for Diana Porca, who won first place and the May prize of the 2018 "The Day of Tomorrow" folk music festival – Centennial Edition.

From 2012, he is guitarist and singer in the rock band of Hemera. Since 2014, he is guitarist and singer in the folk group Diantos. In 2016, he attended the first courses in piano, organ and singing.

Among the prizes and awards are the First Prize (with the Diantos Group in 2013), the Bistrita Folk Festival, the Bistrita Folk Popularity Award 2014, alongside the Diantos Group, the Special Prize (2015, Bistrita Folk) ( 2016 at the folk festival "Invitation to Castle" Cluj-Napoca), 2nd prize in 2017 at the day of Alba Iulia "Tomorrow Day", and 3rd prize, this year at Bistrita Folk.
