Apple took over the production of iPhone X. This decision was made by weak sales of new Apple models.
After unveiling the new iPhone XR, XS and XS Max in September, Apple stopped production last year after just 12 months. However, no matter who likes the new phones, sales have not exceeded expectations. This prompted the company to terminate telephone orders prematurely, to the detriment of workers and parts sellers.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the drop in demand has resulted in an unexpected move: the resumption of production of the iPhone X. Apple would have contracted with Samsung for the purchase of a number OLED screens. These screens will be inserted in the model of last year and not in those published in September.
The production of iPhone X has been halved since January and its sales have not lived up to expectations.
