The Galaxy A8s is the phone that many expect, not necessarily because they want to buy it, but because it could be the first Samsung device equipped with a perforated screen which will set the tone for designing versions next year.
The world's first smartphone with a perforated screen
Although its display has been the most discussed aspect so far, details regarding the phone's internal hardware have not appeared. The first details on this subject come from a German publication (AllAboutSamsung), which lists all that interests us in this model. We simply hope that the information will prove true.
The Galaxy A8s is currently expected in China. The information stating that it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 710 chipset could therefore make sense because Samsung only sells processor models from the famous US manufacturer of this region. It seems however that it will not be an average mid-range smartphone and that it will have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, a level higher than those of the Galaxy S9 launched this spring.
The 6.39 "Infinity-O display will cover most of the phone, leaving only a tiny black space between the bottom of the screen and the metal frame. 400 mAh, a fingerprint sensor on the back and a three-camera system with sensors of 24, 10 and 5 megapixels, respectively.The front camera, housed in the small hole located in the upper corner left of the screen, will offer a resolution of 24 megapixels.
In terms of size, the Galaxy A8 could measure 159.11 x 74.88 mm x 7.38 mm, less than the Galaxy Note9, despite the fact that the screens are almost as big. However, it is unclear whether this model will benefit from a QHD or Full HD screen, but if we consider the launch of the Galaxy A series in the past, it is likely to be 39, a smaller model.
