Today, for example, we discover a new patent associated with Microsoft Andromeda / Surface Phone that refers to a variety of dual audio system.
Documents are coming out a technology by which volume can be adjusted according to the type of content displayed in multitasking on the two screens separated by a hinge. So, an example is the one on the right screen that runs a game, while the audio player is open to the right. Here, the user will be able to choose a different volume level for de-iced activities.
There will be two built-in speakers that can be used separately for playback of different audio materials or for stereo audio playback. Face recognition will also be used to automatically adjust the volume based on the distance traveled by a smartphone or switching from one screen to another.
Apparently, the technology would also work when a headset or wireless headphones are connected, and another feature is to turn on mute mode when the user's face is not detected. The volume slider will also be present on the screen software and the document indicates the possibility of seeing power and volume buttons with haptic feedback.
We do not know if the technology will end up on Surface Phone a.k.a Andromeda and even if this device will be launched in the near future.
