ProSport's Romania100 campaign aims to highlight those who have lived to the highest intensity of the sport they have served. Leaving the country or staying home to make a name for themselves, the protagonists of team sports or individual disciplines have thousands of stories. For some of them, the period before the fall of communism strengthened them for the rest of their lives. In the evening of this evening, ProSport presents the first part of the conversation with Lică Movilă, former Dynamo defender of the time when the stadium of Stefan cel Mare was crowded with spectators. The white-red group made steaks for the big European clubs. The road that leads from Chercea district to Braila to the most important arena of Europe with grace, the battles with Star of Valentine Ceausescu and the battle with Scottish Graeme Souness … All in the interview below with Lică Movilă, a guy who would not give Romania to any island paradise in the world. Go!
INTERVIEW | "Everywhere in the locker room, on the floor and on the walls, there was blood from my mouth!" The first part of the revelations of Lica Movila # România100
Where did you grow up?
In the largest district of Braila, Chercea, behind the train station.
Were you alone with your parents?
I always have two brothers, I am the smallest of them. Today, the most important is in Oradea, the second in Italy, and I settled in Bucharest and Răcari. We are no longer in Braila.
Did you have a child without children?
Yes. My father was a dogar, he had a workshop at home and he took care not to miss the essentials. So I played all day. I have lived all the games of my childhood. I had kids in my street. Then there were the so-called neighborhood ghosts. But I was good, I did not interfere with that. I went to the movie and I played a lot of football, especially in a park near my home.
Who thought you had talent?
Big brother But I did not necessarily find that I had talent. In doing the army to Carei, a colleague from Bacau learned that there was a football high school in his city. And when he came home, he asked my father if he did not want me to attend this high school. This idea came to him because he saw me playing football all day long.
But your father did not think to make you dogar?
My mother did not even agree to go to the workshop. I was the smallest, a little more pampered, but also because the two brothers had worked there and had had accidents. So she wanted to be sure that I would not get the same thing. The tallest has got the job, and the second is tinichigiu.
When did you go to Bacau?
In 1975, when I was in 7th grade. Originally, my dad came to talk to Professor Mihai Petrovici, who told him that he could take me away and that he took me to his class.
