And Klaus Iohannis entered the arena, understanding very well – no matter what the president understood or it was an opportunistic calculation – that the total subordination of the party is a bad thing for the country. Only Liviu Dragnea had a head start.

Paul Stanescu did not resist the government, not even for the time that he gave the president on the set. He resigned, radically limiting the president's option of not accepting Olguta Vasilescu – the general minister of government – for development.

Dragnea strangled PSD – an alarm signal for Romania
