update: Violent scenes at the sacred cathedral of the nation. After the weekend, protesters gathered in front of the shrine on Thursday, the violence escalated. Believers broke the gendarmes and tried to enter the cathedral. Several people were injured after falling down the stairs.
The first news: There is a huge waiting line at the Salvation of Nations Cathedral on the last day where believers can pass through the altar of the place of worship.
Thousands of people are still frozen to see the altar.
Meanwhile, the priests prepare the final preparations for the service of St. Andrew, who will be officiated by the patriarch Daniel.
The guard service in honor of St. Apostle Andrew, the first called, the protector of Romania, will be dedicated to the evening of Thursday, November 29, 2018 in the chapel of the Cathedral of Salvation, starting at 18:00.
Friday, November 30, 2018, on the occasion of the feast of St. Apostle Andrew, second patron of the National Cathedral, at 9:30 in the Cathedral, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by His Beatitude Theophilus III, Patriarch of Jerusalem and of all Palestine, and his Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, as well as a hierarchy of hierarchs, priests and deacons.
