The construction sector will be declared a priority sector of national importance for the Romanian economy over the next ten years, according to this memorandum quoted in the press release.

"For the construction sector, a monthly minimum wage of 3,000 lei will be set, taxes owed by the employer for the labor force will be eliminated and those paid to the employee will be fixed. so that the monthly net salary exceeds the equivalent of 500 EUR, "announced the representatives of the executive.

In addition, the professional certification will be introduced by a neutral certification body, composed of members of representative organizations of employers, professional organizations, educational institutions and specialists of the domain.

"Additional measures will also be introduced to combat illegal work and in the area of ​​legislation, the law of the House of Social Builders will be adopted in its updated form and the legislation on public procurement will be improved," the statement said. Press.

Another measure would be to introduce 30% of the obligation to pay the advance for works contracts, in particular European funds and national interest contracts, and to reimburse it by means of percentage rebates on each invoice, until the project is finalized. .

In order to support the financing of the construction sector, a construction guarantee fund will be set up at 80% by the State and 20% of the construction companies.
