President Klaus Iohannis enacted Thursday the law allowing officers and police to choose to use the money they receive to pay rent in order to repay their home loans.
Thus, the Head of State signed the decree promulgating the law amending and supplementing certain normative acts.

The law provides that soldiers and officers who fulfill the conditions for granting a monthly rent allowance and who take out a mortgage / real estate loan for the purchase of housing receive a monthly rent allowance for a period not exceeding the duration of the rent. of the loan, pay the rate or a fraction of the credit rate. In this situation, a monthly rent allowance is granted for the amount indicated, but can not exceed the monthly rate paid for a mortgage / home loan.
A monthly rental allowance is granted for a dwelling purchased during a career.

For these people, the amounts can be justified by a sale-purchase contract with down payment of a home.
Thursday also, the head of state signed decrees of promulgation:

* The law of modification of the art. 11 of the law on the national education no. 1/2011;
* Law amending and supplementing Law no. 2/1968 on the administrative organization of the territory of Romania.
