Dacia Electric could be built on this recently announced Renault model

Renault recently announced a new electric car model that could form the basis of the new electric car that Dacia is preparing.

Rena Zoe is the most sold 100% electric car of the company. It is now in the second generation and brings a number of improvements over the previous model. First, the new Zoé comes with a larger battery than the first generation. Of the 41 kWh, the second generation Renault Zoe will reach a battery of 52 kWh. Thus, the model's autonomy will increase by 20% and reach 390 kilometers.

Dacia could present an electric car built exactly from this Renault model. It is not surprising that Dacia works there, but there are no specific details in this regard. However, among the models that could be based on the new electric car, Dacia also includes Renault Zoe.

Dacia is working on an electric car

Dacia officials have already announced that the electric car would become a reality thanks to the technologies of the members of the Renault-Nissan alliance.

An option would be the Renault K-ZE. It was developed by the Global Access division, responsible for the group's low-cost cars, including Dacia. The K-ZE could become an electric Dacia in 2020. It has a top speed of 105 km / h and a range of up to 270 km.
