The concerts of André Rieu are like a fireworks of emotions. With more than 100 concerts a year, André Rieu offers the public a complete entertainment with famous and romantic melodies, many surprises, humor and international soloists of the first order. With the 60 musicians in his orchestra, Johann Strauss, the world's largest private orchestra, the charismatic artist of Dutch descent has been touring the world for over 30 years.
In September, the world tour continued rieu on large stages in the United States and Canada, in October in Argentina, in November in Australia and in December, conquering the British public. To manage the transport routes of a huge production between continents, four identical fabulous structures have been created, containing 4 sets of costumes, instruments and technical equipment.
In July of this year, André Rieu supported his fantastic annual outdoor concerts in his home town of the Netherlands, Maastricht. For the first time, for 13 nights, more than 15,000 fans from more than 80 countries took part in their extraordinary concerts at Vrijthof.
André Rieu gave his first concert in Romania in 2015 and supported only 7 performances on Constitution Square on June 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13 and 14, 2015. A year later, he returned in Bucharest with his orchestra. for two other shows (July 11-12, 2016). In 2019, he will perform for the first time in a city of Transylvania.
