Big surprise: Bogdan Andone, new head coach of the FCSB: "will be presented Wednesday"

Bogdan Andone will be the new head coach of the FCSB after Edi Iordanescu has turned down Gigi Becali's proposal and announced that he would stay with Gaz Metan Medias.

The announcement was made in the afternoon by the CFSB financier and its official presentation will take place on Wednesday.

"Edi Iordanescu has given up and Bogdan Andone will be introduced as head coach at 12:00," Gigi Becali of Digi Sport said.

Who is Bogdan Andone

Bogdan Andone is 44 years old and is a former Romanian footballer. He has been coaching since 2011.

He has evolved in his career, among others, at Sportul Studentesc, Rapid, Otelul Galati and Apollon Limassol.

As coach, Bogdan Andone has prepared FC Voluntari, Olimpia Satu Mare, ASU Politehnica, Metaloglobus Bucharest and Energetician. In 2015/2016, he won the Ligue 1 title as second in Marius Sumudica at Astra Giurgiu.

At the beginning of the year, he signed with FCSB, the second of Mihai Teja.
