Photovoltaic panels are equipped with a system that continuously guides them to the light source, ensuring maximum power and producing 44% more energy compared to a static system. They also feature winter defrosting functions and an integrated wind protection system.

"This is an idea that we have been analyzing for at least 3 years, but which has become viable with technological developments and taking into account factors such as surface required, costs / investments, returns, efficiency and, last but not least, field legislation. It is a pilot project that will provide us with all the necessary information for its possible extension to other Rompetrol stations in Romania.
In the context of extreme weather conditions in March, Rompetrol Downstream first recorded quarter, a total sales volume of about 490,000 tons, a level similar to that reached in the same period of 2017. Of this amount, approximately 30% was sold by the Rompetrol stations, a 3% January to March
