The Mobile World Congress 2019, to be held in Bacelorna at the end of February, may well be the place where Huawei will present its first rocking smartphone that also supports 5G technology.
Like Samsung, Huawei has not hidden its intention to work on a foldable smartphone. Even more, company officials said they were preparing several such devices for next year.
According to a Chinese government official quoted by the local press, Huawei reportedly presented his first smartphone in a collapsible group of government officials and mobile operators.
The device, which will make two first Huawei, the first foldable and the first with 5G support, would have 5 inches of crease when it is folded and 8 inches when it is open – higher than the similar product of Samsung which measures 4 , 6 or 7, 3 inches.
There is currently no other device information to be launched in a major year for Huawei, which has many ambitions and challenges.
In addition to folding smartphones, Huawei is also preparing for the next year a pair of glasses for augmented reality smartphones and the global launch of its own virtual assistant.
The difficulties come from the fact that the Chinese manufacturer has to face the suspicion of espionage, especially from the United States, which has just passed on to the governments and telecommunications companies of allied countries, including Romania, a return on the use of Huawei equipment.
