Olympus, one of the largest dairy farmers in Romania, is expanding its product portfolio and launches the new Greek yogurt Stragghisto on the local market, following an investment of more than 20 million euros. Stragghisto reveals a traditional Greek yogurt recipe and is available in three variants: 0%, 2% and 10%.

The new yogurt has a low lactose content and the highest level of protein compared to products of the same category on the market thanks to advanced production technology. The consistency is put first, and for a dense, creamy and smooth texture, like a mousse, the product packaging is packed with a thin rice paper that absorbs moisture.

About 35, 000 square meters, the Halchiu sine boasts advanced equipment for the reception and processing of milk at the European level, as well as for the packaging of finished products. The high level of technology gives Olympus a competitive edge and guarantees high quality, food safe products, while maintaining their nutritional value and distinct taste. With a total milk collection capacity of 75 tonnes per hour, the Braşov factory produces yoghurt, fresh milk and UHT cheese, cheese and cream. High quality products are distributed in hypermarkets and supermarkets in Romania and the main European countries: Italy, Germany, Austria, England and Sweden
