Parliament is meeting today in a solemn session devoted to the celebration of the centenary of the Great Union, attended by President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă and Princess Margaret.
The meeting will begin at 2 pm with the singing of the national anthem and the first speech will be delivered by President Klaus Iohannis.
According to the program adopted by the permanent offices, the President of the Senate, Călin Popescu Tăriceanu, the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Liviu Dragnea, Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă and the Dean of the Public Prosecutor, Princess Margareta, also took the floor .
Lastly, the platform and the representatives of the parliamentary groups will speak within seven minutes for each parliamentary group.
At the solemn meeting were invited the former Presidents of Romania, the members of the Government, the Presidents of the Constitutional Court, the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the Court of Accounts, the Romanian Academy, the Council Legislative, the National War Veterans Association, the People's Advocate, the Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church Mgr Roman Catholic Archbishop of Bucharest, Archbishop of the Greek Catholic Church, Heads of Diplomatic Missions residing in Bucharest.
