Renault Zoe gets a stronger engine

The 80 kW engine, R110, develops an additional 12 kW and maintains the same mass of its predecessor, the R90. Thanks to this, the customer has a greater ability to accelerate on the road and on the motorway, with a gain of almost 2 seconds at 80-120 km / h. A significant improvement in business figures brings additional comfort at higher speeds. Evolution of the R90 engine, the R110 retains excellent performance in terms of energy efficiency and low-end dynamics by delivering a maximum torque of 225 Nm.

The R110 is a 100% Renault engine manufactured and Made in France by engineers from the Technocentre (Yvelines) and the factory of Cléon (Seine Maritime). This electric motor will have five versions (44 kW, 57 kW, 60 kW, 68 kW and 80 kW) and will be available on the following models: Kangoo Z.E., Master Z.E. and ZOE for Renault and Smart Electric Drive for Daimler

The 2018 version of the model also presents a refined and modern design, offering a new body color: "Violet Blueberry". On the "INTENS" equipment level, customers can opt for a new exclusive "Violet Pack Blueberry" package that features interior and exterior details in purple tones. They are present on the following elements: dashboard, aerator, shifter, speakers, seams and seat fabrics.

R110, the first Renault electric motor homologated according to the WLTP protocol

The R110 is the first Renault electric motor approved according to the WLTP protocol ( Procedure of 39, test light commercial vehicles worldwide – Protocol replacing the NEDC certification system). According to the results obtained, ZOE announces a real autonomy of 300 km in urban and extra-urban use.
