The Romanian authorities signed on Wednesday a memorandum of cooperation in the field of labor and social protection with the Vietnamese Ministry to bring the country's work force to the national territory.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice (MMJS), the understanding of cooperation between the two states was signed under conditions of acute crisis of the workforce in Romania and in which the Republic of Vietnam has 94 million inhabitants. of which about 60 million are able to work.
The average income in Vietnam is 150 to 300 dollars a month, the most important being the metallurgical industry, banks and the pharmaceutical industry.
"I guarantee that the rights of non-EU workers, including, of course, Vietnamese citizens have been, are and will be respected in Romania under the same conditions as those of Romanian employees." Vietnamese citizens work in Romania in the sectors of construction, industry, agriculture and tourism.
The memorandum between Romania and Vietnam was concluded under conditions in which the Romanian economic environment demands a deficit of one million employees in the labor market, notes the Ministry of Labor.
