Experts say that the direction of outsourcing is also felt in the office market, where an upward trend was noted during last three years.
"While 24% of office buildings delivered in 2015 property management, 57% have adopted this mode of work in 2016. The year 2017 marked a new leap: close to 80% of office space benefit from services of specialized companies, "says the report.
According to data provided by CBRE, the market in this segment shows an upward trend:
– in 2015, the stock of premises the new offices are 73 000 m², of which 17,700 m², or 24%, were outsourced to property management services
– 2916,294,000 m² of offices were delivered, including 167,300% of the total area) were managed by external teams
– 2017 marked the approaching maturity of this segment: out of a total of 123,000 square meters of completed offices, 79%, representing an area of 97,300 sqm outsourced.
According to representatives of CBRE, through the retail and office, 2018 will be the year of the industrial sector in terms of the increase in the number of projects managed under outsourcing
Currently, CBRE manages 300 properties in Central and Eastern Europe, covering an area of 3.95 million square meters, including 1.8 million square meters of shopping centers and one million square meters of office space, the remainder comprising industrial and logistic spaces.
