The TeraPlast Group, one of the leading players in the building materials market, recorded a consolidated business turnover of 338 million lei in the first half of 2018, doubling its business figure compared with the first half of the previous year, cumulative business of about 172 million lei. The main contributors to this growth are the activity of last year in the Group's portfolio, namely Depaco (Wetterbest), the sandwich panel factory of Serbia and Politub activity. The first half represents about 40% of Teraplast's annual business, depending on the seasonality of the industry, informs the company.

Steel Division – The Segment sandwich panels generated a turnover of 112 million lei, up 74% over the same period last year, against the backdrop of an increase in EBITDA of 58%. This increase was mainly generated by the Serbian factory, where the products are sold in 8 European countries. The Bistrita production unit will focus on the development of the premium segment.
As of 2018, the Group's financial statements include Depaco, whose turnover has increased by 25% over the first six months of the previous year, further developing the segment of the roofing for industrial construction and increase its presence in the north of the country. Wetterbest pursues its strategy of growing market share
The Plastics Division recorded a turnover of 145 million rubles in the first half of 2018, up 35% compared to the first half of 2017. On this segment, the TeraPlast group which constantly activates and improves its presence in neighboring countries.
The cereals sector achieved a notable performance: a turnover of 32 million RON, up 40% compared to the first half of 2017, the margin of EBITDA remaining at 12%. In this segment, TeraPlast is the first manufacturer in Romania, fulfilling its promise to develop a wide range of pellets, according to the customer's technical specifications, providing cable manufacturers with the most efficient solutions. Based on these skills, TeraPlast has strengthened its presence in neighboring countries.
According to business representatives, private sector construction is still rising, but in the context of slowing consumer growth and industrial production, which the market was proposing in 2017. In terms of Infrastructure, many public auctions have been launched and unallocated, the Group's business will thus be determined this year by the dynamics of the private sector
