Rudy Giuliani tries to silence deranged ‘witness’ at election fraud hearing

At another messy election fraud hearing on Wednesday evening, Trump’s campaign lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who recently had hair dye leaked into his face during a press conference in which he spoke city My cousin Vinny– seemed so embarrassed by one of her witnesses that he tried to silence her.

With Team Trump’s lawsuits and court challenges that have repeatedly caused laughter out of court, the legal team’s latest ploy to keep President Donald Trump in the White House is to try to convince legislatures states that President-elect Joe Biden has won from rejecting their state’s certifications and returning their electoral votes to Trump.

After holding unofficial “hearings” at hotels in Arizona and Pennsylvania, Giuliani and fellow Trump campaign lawyer Jenna Ellis appeared before a Michigan House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday. The hearing comes amid pressure from Trump and his Republican allies to have the GOP-led state legislature step in and hand the state over to the president, despite Biden winning 154,000 votes.

One of the witnesses Trump’s legal team presented on Wednesday night – the second day of hearings – was Melissa Carone, who claims she worked as a contractor for Dominion Voting Systems.

Although she struggled to coherently explain her duties during her first day of testimony, Carone was brought back by Team Trump – and again struggled to explain what exactly she was doing in as a Dominion contractor. However, that didn’t stop her from confidently insisting that she had indeed witnessed blatant and massive fraud during the counting of the ballots.

Alleging to have seen election officials execute the same ballots in voting machines “thousands of times”, Carone – clearly insulting – challenged when a state official said she should be “under oath” during his testimony.

“I have an affidavit!” Carone exclaimed. “I am a mother, I have two children, I have two degrees. I don’t know any woman in the world who would write an affidavit under oath just to write it down. You can go to jail for that!

The affidavit to which Carone refers was included last month in a Michigan lawsuit that sought to stop Wayne County’s electoral certification. The request was dismissed by the judge, who found his allegations “simply not credible”.

At one point, during an exchange with GOP Representative Steve Johnson, Carone livened up and started yelling when lawmakers wondered how his claim that a batch of 30,000 votes counted multiple times would not be reflected in the survey book.

“We don’t see the 30,000-vote poll book,” Johnson said.

“What did you guys do, take it and do something crazy?” Carone retaliated.

“I’m just saying the numbers aren’t less than 30,000 votes,” Johnson replied calmly.

“I would say the poll registry lost more than 100,000 people [votes]She said with an air of complete confidence. Then she began to lecture the legislator, telling him that there were “no voters on the list” in the county poll book.

When Johnson once again tried to ask her questions about her outlandish claims, Carone questioned the turnout being “120%” which prompted Giuliani to calm her down, while “making her” shut up ”audibly.

Needless to say, the rest of Carone’s testimony was equally devoid of fact, unbalanced and breathtaking. And she continued to deliver it with incredible self-confidence.

Giuliani, meanwhile, remarked during the hearing that he had just met Carone that day and spoke to her for the first time on Tuesday.
