Sales charts in the UK: Far Cry: New Dawn takes the lead despite a disappointing start

Far Cry: The new dawn PS4 PlayStation 4

Some new games have arrived last week, but that is Far Cry: New Dawn which ranks first in the UK retail market. The series has always sold well and Far Cry 5 was one of the best-selling games of last year. However, despite its debut in first place, the first week of New Dawn was significantly reduced compared to the previous title, with a lower sale of 86.5%. As always, this does not take into account digital purchases, which may be higher.

Metro: Exodus came in second and performed better than its predecessor, Metro: Last Light. When you add digital sales, the title seems to have worked very well. Meanwhile, Jump Force, manga brawler, makes his debut at number four, which is not bad for a relatively niche fighting game.

The rest of the top 10 simply sees the rest slip to please these new competitors, with Red Dead Redemption 2 in third and Kingdom Hearts III in eighth place. Next week's graph will show the location of EA's ANTHEM after its launch on Friday.
