T-Mobile has updated quite a few Samsung devices over the past two weeks, and we now have confirmation that a few more Galaxy phones are getting new updates.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series is now getting a new update that brings the security patches of November 1, 2020. Galaxy S20 owners get version G981USQS1BTK2, Galaxy S20 + users should watch out for version G986USQS1BTK2, and Galaxy S20 owners Ultra will receive version G988USQS1BTK2.

Samsung’s change logs for these updates do not mention any other adjustments, and T-Mobile has yet to release its change logs for the updates. So there is no word yet on what other changes, if any, could be included.

The Galaxy S9 and S9 + have also been recently updated. These updates also bring the security fixes of November 1, 2020, these are versions G960USQS8FTJ6 for the Galaxy S9 and G965USQS8FTJ6 for the Galaxy S9 +.

These updates are currently rolling out, so if you don’t have a new update on your Galaxy S20 or S9 yet, you should see it soon. You can also go to your Settings app and manually check for your phone’s new update if you don’t feel like waiting for it to arrive.
