Samsung announced its new pair of wireless headphones last week. They look pretty solid so far, but it looks like the company is already offering a Buds update with new features and tweaks, making the Galaxy Buds Pro an even more appealing option to potential buyers.

The OTA update adds a “hearing enhancement feature” that allows users to adjust the sound balance between the left and right headphones. This should prove useful for people with hearing impairments who make the default sound balance of headphones an ideal.

The update also includes improvements to the Bixby experience which should allow it to respond faster when summoned by voice. And of course, there are the usual system stability issues that make this update more reliable than the software currently running on the Buds Pro. The new software update available for the Galaxy Buds Pro has the version number R190XXU0AUA1 and is available at 2.2MB which should allow for a quick download and installation.

Our review of the new Galaxy Buds Pro is coming soon, but until then you can contact us with any questions about the Buds here. And if you want to buy a pair for yourself, you can trade in any old pair of wired or wireless headphones you have and instantly save $ 30 on a purchase of Galaxy Buds Pro on Samsung.com. Samsung will increase the savings to $ 50 if you trade in a pair of Galaxy Buds Live or Galaxy Buds +, but either way, it’s a good deal.
