Samsung’s updated Galaxy Buds Pro design in leaked images

Thanks to an FCC filing earlier this week, we know that Samsung’s next true wireless earbuds are most likely called Galaxy Buds Pro. And thanks to notable leaker Evan Blass, we now have our first glimpse of what would have been the Unannounced Buds and their charging case. As previously stated, the design of the Buds Pro is more like the look of the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds + than the bean-shaped earbuds of the Galaxy Buds Live. There are some aesthetic changes, however, namely a more oval shape than the somewhat triangular design of previous Samsung models. There is also a more prominent speaker grille, likely covering the microphones for speech and / or active noise cancellation (ANC).

Another notable design element of Blass imagery is the Buds Pro case. As Sammobible reported, this accessory looks like the square case that came with the Buds Live rather than the pill-shaped holder on the Galaxy Buds and Buds +. Thanks to the FCC documents, we know the case packs a larger 500mAh battery, although we’ll have to wait and see if that translates to any overall listening time gains.
