SAN ANTONIO – It's a good day when you beat No. 1 seed of any conference, especially when it's Golden State Warriors.
The Spurs won the 111-105 win over the Warriors on Monday night at AT & T.
Led by LaMarcus Aldridge with 23 and DeMar DeRozan with 26, the Spurs (42-29) won their ninth straight game.
Golden State (47-22) kept it close to the bottom and even got less than two goals in the fourth quarter, but the Spurs dismissed them late.
Many Spurs shots were successful, almost 47%. However, it was the last shot of the game that people will remember.
At 1:21 of the end and the four-man Spurs, DeRozan hid a 14-foot jumper, which allowed the Warriors to miss the final third.
The Spurs have a day off before playing in Miami at home Wednesday night.
