Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday that CNN analyst, April Ryan, had reached "a new floor" by calling for "cut grass under foot" of discredited officials of the Trump administration, including Sanders.
The press officer, who has frequently accused the media of not recognizing President Trump's jokes, has interpreted Ryan's observation as a literal demand for beheading.
"I've heard reporters say a lot about me," Sanders told Fox & Friends. "They said I should be choked. They said I deserved a lifetime of harassment, but no one ever told me I should be beheaded. This brings us to a new low even for the liberal media. "
After the publication of the report of the special advocate Robert Mueller, according to which Sanders had invented his account of "countless" FBI agents approving the firing of the FBI director by Trump, Trump, in 2017, said that the spokesperson for the White House had lost all credibility.
"She has outright lied, and the American people can not trust him, he can not believe what the president's spokesman says," said Ryan. "Therefore, she should be let go, she should be fired."

Sanders replied "Fox & Friends".
"I think it proves once again why this journalist is not taken seriously," she said. "I think our team needs to stay focused on how to keep doing things that really help the Americans and not engage in little fights with reporters who, again, should not be taken seriously and I do not think they are and I'm just looking for a few more minutes on TV. And frankly, I'm sorry for them because they lost the battle of collusion and are now looking for something to keep to keep this story alive. "
In response, Ryan posted the entire video clip of his comments, calling for the dismissal of Sanders.
The day after the dismissal of Comey on May 10, 2017, Sanders, then deputy press secretary, told the press that she had "heard many grateful and thankful members of the FBI for the ruling of the president."
According to Mueller, Sanders "admitted to the investigators that his remarks were not based on anything."
Sanders insisted on Friday that his use of the word "innumerable" was a "slip of the tongue" made "in the heat of the moment".
But she repeated this statement the next day, using the same word, even if a journalist asked him for details.
"You said today, and I think you repeated it yesterday, that you have personally spoken to countless FBI employees since that happened," asked Michael Shear of the New York Times.
